橋架直線段之間、直線段與彎通、變徑直通之間的連接件，應采用橋架制造廠配套的連接件。連接件薄鋼板厚度不應小于橋架薄鋼板厚度。

要跨越伸縮縫的橋架少一側有較長的直線段，宜超過30m，或伸縮縫兩側直線段橋架相加有30m，中間無水平或垂直彎通。以便于在橋架中留電纜(或電線)的伸縮余量，這個余量應大于伸縮縫寬L。
